Not done this in a loooooooong time, been busy working, going to try and catch up a bit though

NC Digital Media. Monday 5th October 2009

On Monday, we used a program called Adobe Premiere Pro CS3.
With this we played abound editing videos of an American rodeo. Some of the things we learned were:
*Importing images
*Importing Video
*Pixalating video
*Adding music
*Stylizing
*Chroma key

NC Digital Media. Friday 2nd October 2009

On Monday, we used Photo Shop to present images of computer hardware and software.
It helped us practice things such as:
* Layers
* Multiple images
* Layer Styles
* Text
* Text Styles
* Changing size of Text
Maybe sounds quite easy, but if its your first time using photo Shop, its not as straight forward as it looks

Today in digital media, I caught up with some work form Friday, then we went on to make banners on Photoshop, next day in, Wednesday, we are making banners for Grahams web design class.

NC Digital Media. Wednesday 23rd September 2009

We started off today by going to room 7.14, which is basically a walk in cupboard. There we did some team building activities and leadership skills. These consisted of useing a small bean bag and throwing it to others in the room, who then had to pass it on, it was repeated several time, but had to be in the same order everytime.

We then returned to our normal classroom where we used Adobe Photo Shop to create a web gallery (below) and then uploaded it to Youtube, then onto this blog.

Today in Digital Media we were getting used to using Photo Shop, we did basic image editing, and next time were in were carrying on with Photo Shop.

Today we did yet another assessment on the development and jobs withing the web design sector, which is below. Hopefully all went well.
After that we had a basic lesson with photoshop

Today we done an assessment about company and which sectors that are within the company

watched a video of a Italian designer called Simone Legno, who showed what programs he uses to create his animations and images. He receives a lot of work contracted from large company's all over the world. Alot of his work is inspired by Japanese style images.
We then went on and used Adobe Illustrator and Flash and made a mini animation of a cheeky wee gold fish and a shark.

Today we created a basic 6 page slide show on Power Point so that we could get used to the menu's and icons

NC Digital Media. Wednesday 26th August 2009

We created accounts on a number of different sites, for example: Bubbl.us (used for mind mapping ideas), Youtube (used to upload and show off our work all over the world)
Got our first lesson on Adobe Illustrator so we can all get used to how it works.
Signed into computers to ensure our user name and passwords work properly and without any trouble.
